LG Stylo 6 - Add a Personal / Corporate Email Account

Here's how to add a personal / corporate email account to your Stylo 6.
If you need to add a personal and/or work email account (e.g., POP3, IMAP, Exchange, etc.) to your LG Stylo™ 6, follow these step-by-step instructions.

Add a Personal Email Account

  1. From a Home screen, Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Accounts
     .
    These instructions apply to Home mode only.
  2. Tap
    Add Account
     .
  3. Tap
    Personal (IMAP)
     or
    Personal (POP3)
    Check with your email provider or Exchange / IT admin to determine which account type to use.
  4. Enter your email address then tap
    NEXT
     .
    Depending upon the email account type, the remaining steps may vary.
  5. Enter your password then tap
    NEXT
     .
  6. If presented, enter the appropriate info (e.g., username, SMTP server, port, security type, etc.) then tap
    NEXT
     .
    If you're not sure what your server info is, here are some common personal email server addresses . Contact your email provider if additional assistance is needed or your server info isn't listed.
  7. If presented with access rights, tap
    Agree
     to allow the Gmail™ app to access your email account.
  8. If presented with account options (e.g., sync frequency, automatically download attachments, etc.) configure as desired then tap
    NEXT
     .
  9. Enter the appropriate info (e.g., Account name, Your Name, etc.) then tap
    NEXT
     .

Add a Corporate Email Account

Verizon verifies access to data services only, which can be checked by viewing a website .If you need assistance setting up a corporate email account, contact your Exchange / IT admin.
  1. From a Home screen, Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Accounts
     .
    These instructions apply to Home mode only.
  2. Tap
    Add Account
     .
  3. Tap
    Exchange (for corporate email accounts)
     .
    Check with your email provider or Exchange / IT admin to determine which account type to use.
  4. Enter your corporate email address and password then tap
    Next
     (lower-right).
    If the setup is unsuccessful, tap
    Set up manually
     .
  5. If needed, engage your Exchange / IT admin for additional support on:
    • Email address
    • Server address
    • Domain
    • Port number
    • Username
    • Password
    • Activate device administration
      To apply corporate security policy (e.g., Set up password, Device encryption).
      Device encryption can exceed 60 minutes.
    • Sync options (e.g., Email, Contacts, Calendar)
