Here's how to turn 'Power mode' on or off to help manage battery performance for your Galaxy Note20 5G / Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G.
  • Configuring the 'Power mode' helps conserve battery power.
  • 'Power mode' reduces your device's performance and limits vibration, location services and most background data.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Battery and device care
    Battery
    .
  3. Tap
    Power saving
    .
  4. Tap any of the following to turn on Switch on or off Switch off:
    • Turn off Always On Display
    • Limit CPU speed to 70%
    • Decrease brightness by 10%
    • Limit apps and Home screen
  5. If desired, tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right), tap
    Adaptive power saving
     then tap the
    switch
     to turn on or off.
  6. To apply power saving settings, tap the
    Power saving switch
     (at the top) to turn on.
    To change settings, Power saving must be turned off.
