Samsung Galaxy Note20 5G / Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G - Power Up in Safe Mode

Here's how to boot your Galaxy Note20 5G / Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G into Safe Mode to help determine if an app is causing it to freeze, reset or run slowly.
An alternate method is available if the device can be powered on and is responsive.
  1. With the device powered off, press and hold the
    Power button
     until the device vibrates and the 'Samsung Galaxy Note20' screen appears then release.

  2. When the 'Samsung' screen appears, press and hold the
    Volume down button
    .

  3. Continue to hold the
    Volume down button
     until 'Safe mode' appears in the lower-left of the unlock or Home screen then release.
    This may take up to 45 seconds.

  4. With Safe Mode enabled, ensure Airplane Mode is turned off then test device and app functionality.
