Here's how to configure Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, etc.) on your Galaxy Note20 5G / Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G.

Configure Mobile Hotspot

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    .
  3. Tap
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  4. Tap
    Configure
    .
  5. Tap
    Advanced
    .
  6. Configure any of the following:
    • Network name
    • Hidden network
    • Security
      This option can be set to 'Open', 'WPA2-Personal', WPA2/WPA3-Personal' or 'WPA3-Personal'.
    • Password
      Password can be changed.
  7. Tap
    Save
     (lower-right).
