Google Pixel 4a - Manage Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings (e.g., password, network name, etc.) on your Pixel 4a.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & internet
    Hotspot & tethering
    .
  3. Tap
    Wi-FI hotspot
    .
  4. Tap the Use Wi-Fi hotspot switch then tap to turn on Switch on.
  5. From the Wi-Fi hotspot screen, set up the following.
    • Hotspot name
    • Security
      • WPA2-Personal
      • None
        If presented with a Warning screen, tap Continue.
    • Hotspot password
      Password can be changed.
  6. Tap
    Turn off hotspot automatically
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
