Here's how to turn pre-installed apps on your Galaxy A71 5G UW on or off.
Some apps that come pre-installed (e.g., calculator, Google Play™ Store, Verizon Cloud, Call Filter, etc.) on your Galaxy A71 5G UW can't be uninstalled; however, they can be disabled (turned off) so they don't appear in the list of apps on your device.
The option to enable or disable an app may only be available for apps that can't be uninstalled.

Enable App

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps
    .
  3. Tap the
    Filter and sort icon Filter and sort icon
    .
  4. From the 'Filter by' section, tap
    Disable
     then tap OK.
  5. Tap the appropriate app.
    If system apps aren't visible:
    1. Tap the
      Filter and sort icon Filter and sort icon
      .
    2. Tap
      Show system apps switch
       to turn on Switch on.
  6. Tap
    Turn on
     (bottom-left).

Disable App

Disabling an app may cause related apps to function improperly.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps
    .
  3. Tap the appropriate app.
    If system apps aren't visible:
    1. Tap the
      Filter and sort icon Filter and sort icon
      .
    2. Tap
      Show system apps switch
       to turn on Switch on.
  4. Tap
    Disable
     (at the bottom).
    If the Disable option isn't available, Navigate: (bottom-right)
    Force Stop
    OK
    .
  5. Tap
    Disable app
     to confirm.
