Samsung Galaxy A21 - Manage Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure Mobile / wi-fi Hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, etc.) on your Galaxy A21.

Configure Mobile Hotspot

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    .
  3. Tap
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  4. Tap
    Configure
    .
  5. Configure any of the following:
    • Network name
    • Security
      This option can be set to Open, WPA2-Personal, WPA2/WPA3-Personal, or WPA3-Personal.
    • Password
      Password can be changed.
    • Tap
      Advanced
       then tap
      Hidden Network
       to  turn on Switch on icon or off Switch off icon.
      When on, Mobile Hotspot name won't appear in available Wi-Fi networks.
  6. Tap
    Save
     (lower-right).

  4. Tap
    Configure

  5. Tap
    Turn off when no device connected for
    .
  6. Select an option (e.g., Never timeout, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 60 minutes, etc.).
  7. Tap
    Save
     (lower-right).
