OnePlus 8 5G UW - Manage Do Not Disturb Settings

Here's how to check Do Not Disturb settings if your OnePlus 8 5G UW isn't receiving calls or alerts for texts and email.
  • The Do Not Disturb setting allows sound / vibration (for phone calls, messages, etc.) to be turned on or off as preferred.
  • Alarms are always considered priority interruptions.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    Sound & Vibration
     >
    Do Not Disturb
    .
  3. Tap the
    Do Not Disturb switch
     to turn on On switch icon or off Off switch icon.
  4. Tap
    Turn on automatically
    .
  5. Select the preferred schedule(s) to turn on or off.
    Selected when checkmark is present.
    To create a new schedule, tap
    Add more
    .
    • Tap the
      Settings gear icon
       then perform the following:
    1. Tap the
      Use schedule switch
       to enable.
    2. Tap
      Days
       to select the preferred days then tap
      DONE
      .
    3. Tap
      Start time
       and adjust the start time then tap
      OK
      .
    4. Tap
      End time
       and adjust the end time then tap
      OK
      .
    5. Tap the 'Alarm can override end time'
      switch
       to turn on or off.
  6. Tap the
    Back icon
     Back icon to return to previous screen.
  7. Tap
    Exception
     s then tap the following to turn on or off:
    • Allow alarms
    • Play media sounds
    • Allow touch sounds
    • Allow reminders
    • Allow events
  8. Tap the
    Back icon
     to return to previous screen.
  9. Tap
    Restrict notifications
     then select the preferred notification setting.
