OnePlus 8 5G UW - Turn Power Saver On / Off

Here's how to turn 'Battery saver' on or off to help manage battery performance for your OnePlus 8 5G UW.
While enabled, 'Battery saver' reduces the performance of your OnePlus 8 5G UW and limits vibration, location services, and most background data to help improve battery life.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Battery
    .
  3. Tap
    Optimized charging switch
     to turn on switch on or off switch on.
  4. Tap
    Battery optimization
    .
  5. Tap the preferred app then select from the following to configure the settings:
    • Blue dot appears when selected.
    • Intelligent Control
    • Optimize
    • Don't optimize
  6. Tap the
    Back icon
     Back icon to return to Battery optimization settings.
  7. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right) then tap
    Advanced optimization
    .
  8. Tap the
    Turn on adaptive battery switch
     to turn on or off.
    Limit battery for apps that you don't use often.
