Here's how to adjust screen brightness and other display settings (e.g., Display size, Font, etc.) for your OnePlus 8 5G UW.

Adjust Brightness Settings

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Display
    .
  3. Touch and hold the
    red dot
     then drag left or right to adjust the amount of brightness.
  4. Tap
    Adaptive brightness
     to turn on On Switch icon or off Off Switch icon.
    This feature optimizes brightness level for available light.

Adjust Display / Font Settings

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:

  3. Tap
    Font size
    .
  4. Touch and hold the
    red dot
     then drag left or right to the desired option.
  5. Tap the
    Back icon Back arrow icon
      to return to Display settings screen.
  6. Tap
    Display Scaling
  7. Touch and hold the
    red dot
     then drag left or right to the desired option.
  8. Tap the
    Back icon
     to return to Display settings screen.
  9. Tap the
    Back icon
     to return to Settings.
  10. Tap
    Customization
    .
  11. Tap
    Font
     then select one of the following:
    • Roboto
    • OnePlus Slate™
