Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your moto g stylus or turn it on / off.
  • Enabling the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Personal Identification Number (PIN) locks the SIM card so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
  • If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    Security
    .
  3. From the SIM card lock section, tap the phone number.
  4. Tap the
    Lock SIM card switch
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    If prompted, review 'SIM Lock' message then tap
    OK
     to accept.
  5. Enter the SIM PIN then tap
    OK
    .
    The default SIM PIN is 1111.
  6. To change your SIM PIN, ensure Lock SIM card switch is on Switch on then do the following:
    1. Tap
      Change SIM PIN
      .
    2. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
    3. Enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
    4. Re-enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
