Here's how to reset settings if your moto g stylus can't connect to data or send / receive messages.
By performing the steps below, the following are cleared or restored to default values:
  • Cellular and Wi-Fi network settings (including saved networks and passwords)
  • Bluetooth®

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    System
    .
  3. Tap
    Advanced
     then tap
    Reset options
    .
  4. Tap
    Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth
    .
  5. Tap
    Reset settings
    .
    If prompted, enter the PIN, password or pattern.
  6. Tap
    Reset settings
     to confirm.
