Samsung Galaxy A01 - Enable / Disable App

Here's how to turn pre-installed apps on your Galaxy A01 on or off.
Some apps that come pre-installed (e.g., calculator,Google Play Store, Verizon Cloud, Call Filter, etc.) on your Android device can't be uninstalled; however, they can be disabled (turned off) so they don't appear in the list of apps on your device.
The option to enable or disable an app may only be available for apps that can't be uninstalled.

Enable App

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps
    .
  3. Tap the
    Filter and sort icon
     Filter and sort then tap
    Disabled
    .
  4. Tap the appropriate app.
    If system apps aren't visible, tap
    Show system apps
     to turn on Switch on.
  5. Tap
    Turn on
     (lower-left).

Disable App

Disabling an app may cause related apps to function improperly.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps
    .
  3. Tap the
    Filter and sort icon
     Filter and sort then tap
    All
    .
    If system apps aren't visible, tap
    Show system apps to
     turn on Switch on.
  4. Tap the appropriate app.
  5. Tap
    Disable
    .
    If the Disable option isn't available, navigate:
    Force Stop (upper-right)
    Force Stop (lower-right)
    .
  6. To confirm, tap
    Disable app
    .
  7. If prompted to 'replace this app with the factory version', tap
    OK
     to confirm.
