Samsung Galaxy A51 - Manage Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings (e.g., password, network name, etc.) on your Galaxy A51.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    .
  3. Tap
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  4. Tap
    Configure
    .
  5. Configure any of the following:
    • Network name
    • Security
      This option can be set to Open or WPA2 PSK.
    • Password
      Password can be changed.
    • Band
      This option can be set to 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz preferred.
  6. Tap
    Advanced
     to configure the following:
    • Set mobile data limit
    • MAC address type
    • Turn off when no device connected for
    • Hidden network
    • Protected Management Frames
    • Wi-Fi sharing
  7. Tap
    Save
     (lower-right).
