Connected Car Wi-Fi (Lexus) - Manage Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure hotspot settings (e.g., password, access point, etc.) for your Lexus in-car Wi-Fi.
Before following the step below, make sure you're signed up for Connected Car Service.
  1. Press the
    MENU button
     on the Remote Touch.
  2. Select
    Setup
    .
  3. Select
    Wi-Fi
    .
  4. Select any of the following to view or change settings:
    • Wi-Fi Hotspot
      Tap to turn on or off.
      Your Lexus must be running or in accessory mode for the Wi-Fi Hotspot to function.
    • Password
      Allows you to view or change the Wi-Fi password.
    • Hide Access Point
      Tap to turn on or off.
      For the easiest connection experience, it's recommended to leave this setting off and broadcast your access point name.
    • Security
      Allows you to view or change the current security setting.
    • Access Point Name
      Allows you to view or change the Wi-Fi network name / SSID.
    • Channel
      Allows you to broadcast using alternate channels to avoid interference with other wireless signals.
