Here's how to manage 'Power saving mode' settings on your Galaxy Tab A (8.4 inch) to improve battery performance.
  • Configuring the 'Power mode' helps conserve battery power.
  • 'Power saving mode' reduces your device's performance and limits vibration, location services and most background data.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:

  3. Tap
    Power saving mode
    to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    When turned off, you can customize power saving options by tapping any of the following to turn on or off:
    • Limit CPU speed to 70%
    • Decrease brightness by 10%
    • Limit apps and Home screen
