Here's how to add a contact to your Galaxy Tab A (8.4 inch).
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Tap
    Contacts
     Contacts Icon.
  3. Tap the
    Add contact icon
     Add Contact icon.
  4. If presented, select an account (e.g., Tablet, Google, etc.).
  5. Enter any of the following info then tap
    Save
     (lower-right):
    Depending upon the account (e.g., Tablet, Google, etc.), the options presented may vary.
    • Name
    • Phone
    • Email
    • Groups
    • Tap
      View more
       for additional options:
      • Phonetic name
      • Nickname
      • Address
      • Important date
      • Relationship
      • Notes
      • Web address
      • Messenger account
