Here's how to set up fingerprint recognition on your Galaxy Book S.
  • A fingerprint is utilized to unlock the device.
  • For the fingerprint scanner to operate, hands must be clean and free of moisture, dirt, oil, lotion, dyes etc.
  1. From the Home screen, tap or click the
    Start key Windows Start key
    (lower-left).
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    >
    Account
    .
  3. From the left panel, tap or click
    Sign-in options
    .
  4. Tap or click
    Windows Hello Fingerprint
    .
  5. Tap or click
    Set up
     then from the prompt tap or click
    Get started
    .
    If presented, enter PIN.
  6. Use the on-screen prompts as a guide, lightly tap the
    Power button
     multiple times to scan your fingerprint then tap or click
    Next
    .
  7. When finished, tap or click
    Close
    .
