Here's how to change permissions to allow or block sending premium texts from your Galaxy J3 V / J3 (2016).
If you're having issues sending text messages to short codes, view this info to check permission settings.
  • Steps only apply if you've previously used a messaging app to send a text to a premium content provider or short code.
  • Short codes are typically 5 or 6 digit numbers commonly used when participating in contests, making donations, etc.
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:

  2. Tap
    Application Manager

  3. Tap the appropriate app.
  4. Tap
    Permissions

  5. Tap the
    Send premium SMS switch
     to turn On or Off then select an option:
    Apps listed vary and only appear if they've previously been used for premium messaging.

    • Never allow
    • Always allow
