Google Pixel 4 - Turn Screen Rotation On / Off

Here's how to check settings if the display on your Pixel 4 / 4 XL doesn't rotate or flip.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the middle to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
    Display
    .
  3. Tap
    Auto-rotate screen
    .
    Screen rotation displays content in landscape (horizontal) or portrait (vertical) and isn't available for all apps. When on, simply turn the device to change the view.
  4. Tap any of the following options to turn on On icon or off Off icon.
    • Use Auto-rotate
    • Enable Face Detection
      Use Auto-rotate must be on.
