Google Pixel 4 - Manage Screen Lock Settings

Here's how to configure the screen lock settings for your Pixel 4 / 4 XL.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the middle to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security
    .
  3. From the 'Screen lock' section, tap the
    Gear icon
     gear icon (screen lock must be set)
  4. Tap any of the following:
    Depending upon the screen lock type, the options presented may vary.
    • Make pattern visible
      Tap to turn on Switch On icon or off Off icon.
    • Lock after screen timeout (select a period, e.g., 5 seconds, 30 seconds, etc.)
    • Power button instantly locks
      Tap to turn on or off.
