Here's how to link/merge and undo changes to contacts on your Pixel 4 / 4 XL.
  • The Contacts app uses an intelligent merge feature to combine contact info from various sources (Gmail™ , Microsoft® Exchange, Facebook®, new entries, etc.).
  • To correct contact info joined in error, you can edit, delete, or undo changes to contacts.

Link Contacts

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the middle to display all apps.
  2. Tap
    Contacts
     Contacts icon.
  3. Touch and hold the first contact then tap other contacts to be linked.
    Selected when a checkmark is present.
  4. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right).
  5. Tap
    Merge
    .

Undo Changes to Contracts

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the middle to display all apps.
  2. Tap
    Contacts
     Contacts icon.
  3. Tap the
    Switch account icon
     Menu icon (upper-right) then tap
    Contacts app settings
    .
  4. From the Edit contacts section, tap
    Undo changes
     then select an option:
    Option selected reverts all contacts changed within that timeframe.
