Google Pixel 4 - Manage Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings (e.g., password, network name, etc.) on your Pixel 4 / 4 XL.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the middle to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & Internet
    Hotspot & tethering
    .
  3. Tap
    Wi-Fi hotspot
     then tap the
    Use Wi-Fi hotspot switch
     to turn on Switch On icon.
  4. From the Wi-Fi hotspot screen, set up the following.
    • Hotspot name
    • Security
      • WPA2-Personal
      • None
        If presented with a Warning screen, tap
        Continue
        .
    • Password
      Password can be changed.
  5. Tap 'Turn off hotspot automatically' to turn on Switch On icon or off Switch On icon.
