Google Pixel 4 - Adjust Account Sync Settings

If you're not receiving email and app notifications, here's how to view sync settings on your Pixel 4 / 4 XL.
Frequent account syncing can have a negative impact on battery life.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the middle to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Passwords & accounts
  3. Tap the appropriate account.
    Multiple accounts may appear.
  4. Tap
    Account sync
    .
  5. Enable on icon or disable off icon the sync settings as preferred.
    Available options may vary depending on the account type.
    To turn on master sync for all account types:
    1. Navigate:
      Settings
      Passwords & accounts
      .
    2. Tap the
      Automatically sync app data switch
       to turn on or off.
