Google Pixel 4 - Add an Existing Google Account

Here's how to add an existing Google (Gmail) account to your Pixel 4 / 4 XL.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the middle to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Passwords & accounts
    .
  3. Tap
    Add Account
    then tap
    Google
    .
  4. Enter the appropriate Gmail address then tap
    Next
    .
  5. Enter the appropriate password then tap
    Next
    .
  6. If 'Try another way to sign in' appears, select a method to validate account.
  7. To continue, review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then tap
    I agree
    .
  8. If presented, enable or disable any of the following:
    Enabled when a checkmark is present.
    • Back up your phone's apps
    • App Data
    • Settings
    • Personal Dictionaries
    • Wi-Fi passwords.
  9. Swipe left along the bottom edge to go back or swipe up from the bottom to exit.
