Here's how to erase all data on the SD / memory card of your Galaxy Note10+ / Note10+ 5G.
This procedure erases all data on the SD / memory card. It's recommended to back up your data before formatting.
To perform the steps below, ensure the SD / memory card is inserted.
  1. Ensure your smartphone isn't connected to a computer via the USB cable.
  2. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  3. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Battery and device care
    Storage
    .
  4. Tap the name of the SD / Memory card.
    The name varies depending upon the type of card used.
  5. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right).
  6. Tap
    Storage settings
    .
  7. From the 'Portable storage' section, tap the name of the SD / Memory card.
  8. Tap
    Format
    .
  9. Review the disclaimer then tap
    Format SD card
    .
    Allow several seconds for the process to complete.
