Here's how to manage motion-activated services for your Galaxy Tab S5e.
Motions and gestures settings allow for various motion-activated services.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Advanced features
    Motions and gestures
    .
  3. Tap any of the following switches to turn on Switch on or off Switch off :
    • Double tap to turn on screen
      When on, you can turn the screen on by tapping it twice.
    • Double tap to turn off screen
      When on, you can turn the screen on by tapping an empty space on the Home or Lock screen twice.
    • Keep screen on while viewing
      When on, the tablet uses the front camera to detect you're looking at it and keeps the screen on.
    • Cover screen to mute
      When on, place your hand on the screen while the screen is on to mute alarms.
    • Palm swipe to capture
      When on, the screen is captured by swiping the edge of your hand across more than half the screen.
