Nokia 3 V - Manage Data Usage

Here's how to change the data usage cycle and set data warnings and / or limits on your Nokia 3 V.

Customer Service
: Utilize OPAL to assist customers with My Verizon.

Retail
: If applicable, ask your customer to log in to My Verizon to view billing cycle date.

Data usage info provided by the device may differ from actual usage. For data usage info provided by Verizon Wireless, refer to the My Verizon website.

To control data usage on your account, refer to Verizon Smart Family™.

From a Home screen, swipe up from the display to access the apps screen.

Navigate:

Settings

Network & internet

Tap

Data Usage

then do any of the following:

Change Data Usage Cycle:

Tap

Billing cycle

Set the date to match the first day of your billing cycle then tap

SET

Refer to the My Verizon website for billing cycle date.

Set Mobile Data Limit:

Mobile / cellular data is disabled upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the red limit line. To continue use apps that require a data connection (e.g. Browser, Email, etc.), Wi-Fi can be used or the mobile data limit must be manually adjusted (overage charges may apply).

switch to turn on On switch

Enter the desired data limit then tap

SET

Set Mobile Data Warning:

switch to turn on On switch

A notification message appears upon reaching the specified data usage level indicated by the gray warning line.

Enter the desired warning threshold then tap

SET

To view or limit individual app usage, refer to View / Restrict Data Usage by App.
