Here's how to view and adjust sync settings on your Galaxy A50 if you're not receiving email and app notifications.
If you're not receiving email and app notifications, follow these steps to check your account sync settings.
Frequent account syncing can reduce battery life.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Accounts and backup
    Manage accounts
    .
  3. Tap the
    Auto sync data switch
     to turn on switch on or off switch off.
    Turning off auto sync stops the accounts from automatically refreshing your data and delivering notifications.
  4. Tap an account (e.g., Cloud, Email, Google, etc.).
  5. Tap
    Sync account
    .
  6. Tap the switch for individual items (e.g., Contacts, Calendar, Email, etc.) to turn on or off.
    The items presented may vary depending upon account type.
    To perform a manual sync:
    1. Tap the
      Menu icon
