Sonim XP8 - Record and Play File
Here's how to record and play a sound file on your Sonim XP8.
If you need to record an audio file using the Sound Recorder app on your Sonim XP8® , follow these step-by-step instructions.
- From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
- TapSound Recorder

- Tap theRecord icon
(at the bottom) to begin recording.
- When finished, tap theStop icon
(lower-left) to discontinue recording.
- From the prompt, enter a name for the file then tapSAVE.
- To play a sound file, tapRecording list(lower-right) then tap the appropriate sound file to play.If necessary, press theVolume buttonsup or down to adjust the volume.To delete a sound file:
- Touch and hold the preferred recording.
- Tap theTrashcan icon
(upper-right).
- TapDELETEto confirm.
