Google Pixel 3a - View and Reply to an Email Message

Here's how to view and reply to an email message from your Pixel 3a / 3a XL.
If you need to view or reply to an email message from your Google Pixel 3a, follow these step-by-step instructions.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Tap
    Gmail
     Gmail app icon.
  3. Ensure the appropriate email address is selected:
    1. Tap the
      Switch account icon
       Switch account icon (upper-right).
    2. Tap the appropriate email address.
  4. From the Inbox, tap an email message.
    If the email message has an attachment (e.g., jpg, gif, etc.) tap any of the following options from the appropriate attachment tab (e.g. Attachment 1):
    • Download icon
       Download icon: Downloads the attachment to memory.
    • Save to Drive icon
       Save to Google Drive icon: Downloads the attachment to Drive.
    • Save to Google Photos icon
       Save to Google Photos icon: A copy is saved to Google Photos.
  5. Tap the
    Reply icon
     Reply icon.
    Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right) for 'Reply all' and 'Forward' options.
  6. Enter a message then tap
    Send
     Send icon (upper-right).
