Google Pixel 3a - Perform a Gmail Sync

Here's how to sync Google email, contacts, calendar, etc. on your Pixel 3a / 3a XL.
Frequent Gmail™ account syncing can reduce battery life.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Accounts
    .
  3. Tap the account name (email address).
  4. Tap
    Account sync
    .
  5. Tap the appropriate data sync options (e.g., Sync Contacts, Sync Gmail, Sync Calendar, etc.) to turn on On icon or off Off icon.
  6. Tap the
    Menu icon Menu icon
    (upper-right).
  7. Tap
    Sync now
     to perform a manual sync.
