moto g7 power - Set Up Face Recognition

Here's how to set up a facial recognition scan to access your moto g7 power.
  • Facial recognition is utilized to unlock the device.
  • For optimal performance, ensure you are indoors or away from direct sunlight.
  • If synced to a corporate Exchange account, the availability of this option is dependent upon the policies of your IT admin.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security Security icon
    .
  3. Tap
    Face unlock
     then perform one of the following:
    If prompted, enter your current PIN, password or pattern.
    • For first time setup:
      1. Review the info then tap
        SET UP
        .
        If prompted, tap
        Allow
         granting your device access to take pictures and record video.
      2. Review the info then tap
        NEXT
        .
      3. If necessary, refer to set up screen lock.
      4. While holding the phone 8-20 inches away, position your face within the circle displayed on-screen.
        Hold still for several seconds to allow image capture.
      5. Tap the
        switches
         to turn the following option on On switch icon or off Off switch icon then tap
        NEXT
        :
        • Bypass lock screen
          : Pressing power key will open the home screen or last used app once a face is matched.
        • Lift to unlock
          : Raise the phone to unlock by looking at the screen.
      6. To continue, tap
        Done
        .
    • Tap
      Delete face data
       to remove the face recognition.
