Here's how to view and adjust sync settings on your moto g7 power if you're not receiving email and app notifications.
If you're not receiving email and app notifications, follow these steps to check your account sync settings.
Frequent account synchronization can reduce battery life.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    Accounts
    .
  3. Tap the appropriate account (e.g., Cloud, Email, Google, etc.).
  4. Tap
    Account sync
    .
  5. Tap the preferred sync option (e.g., Calendar, Contacts, etc.) to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    The settings presented vary depending upon account type.
  6. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right) then tap
    Sync now
    .
