Google Pixel 3a - Manage Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings (e.g., password, network name, etc.) on your Pixel 3a / 3a XL.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Network & internet
    Hotspot & tethering
    .
  3. Tap
    Wi-Fi hotspot
     then tap to turn on Switch On icon.
  4. From the Wi-Fi hotspot screen, set up the following then tap
    SAVE
    .
    • Hotspot name
    • Security
      • WPA2 PSK
      • None
        If presented with a Warning screen, tap Continue.
    • Hotspot password
      Password can be changed.
  5. Tap
    Turn off hotspot automatically
     to turn on Switch On icon or off Switch off icon.
