Alcatel Avalon V - Reset App

Here's how to reset apps if your Avalon V crashes, resets or freezes.
Personal data on your Avalon™ V such as browser bookmarks and other customized app settings can be backed up to Google's servers.

Reset Individual App

This option resets app preferences and deletes all data for a single app.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps & notifications
    .
  3. Tap
    View all 'xx' apps
    .
  4. Locate then select the appropriate app.
    If system apps aren't visible, tap the
    Menu icon Menu
    (upper-right) >
    Show system
    .
  5. Tap
    FORCE STOP
    .
  6. Tap
    OK
    .
  7. Tap
    Storage
    .
  8. Tap
    CLEAR DATA
    .
    This option may not be available for some apps.
    Resetting an app or clearing data storage may delete saved info within the app (e.g., calendar events may be lost).
  9. Tap
    OK
    .

Reset All App Preferences

This option resets all preferences for the following and app data isn't affected:
  • Disabled apps
  • Disabled app notifications
  • Default apps for actions
  • Background data restrictions for apps
  • Any permission restrictions

    Reset options
