Alcatel Avalon V - Install Device Software Update

Here's how to check for and install software updates on your Avalon V.
  1. From a Home screen on your Alcatel Avalon™ V, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    System updates
    .
    A system update won't be received while roaming.
  3. Tap
    Check for new system update
    .
  4. If prompted, tap
    OK
    .
  5. If an update is available, tap
    Download
    .
    If presented with "Your Alcatel 5059S is up to date", tap
    OK
    .
  6. Tap
    Install Now
