Here's how to adjust screen brightness and other display settings (e.g., Screen mode, Font size, Screen saver, etc.) for your Galaxy S10 5G.
Follow these steps to adjust brightness settings and display / font settings.

Adjust Brightness Settings

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Display
    .
  3. In the 'Brightness' section, slide the blue bar left or right to adjust the amount of brightness.
  4. Tap
    Adaptive brightness
     to turn on On Switch icon or off Off Switch icon.
    This setting optimizes brightness level for available light.

Adjust Display / Font Settings

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:

  3. Tap
    Font size and style
    .
  4. Tap
    Font style
     then select one of the following:
    • Default
    • SamsungOne
    • Gothic Bold
    • Download fonts
  5. Tap the
    Bold font switch
     to turn on On Switch icon or off Off Switch icon.
  6. From the 'Font size' section, touch and hold the
    blue dot
     then drag left or right to the desired option.
  7. Tap the
    Back icon
     Back icon (upper-left) to return to the display settings screen.
  8. Tap
    Screen zoom
     then select how large or small to make items appear on your screen.
    To select a size, touch and hold the
    blue dot
     then drag left or right to the desired option.
  9. Tap the
    Back icon
     to return to the display settings screen.
  10. Tap
    Screen timeout
     then select an option (e.g., 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, etc.).
  11. Tap the
    Back icon
     to return to the display settings screen.
  12. To control what happens when the phone is docked or charging:
    1. Tap
      Screen saver
      .
    2. Select an option (e.g., Colors, Photo Table, etc.).
      Selected when blue circle (left) appears.
