Lenovo tab 4 8 PLUS - Volume Controls

If your Tab 4 8 PLUS doesn't vibrate or make sounds when receiving texts, emails or alerts, here's how to adjust settings.
Adjusting volume controls can help if you're not getting notifications/sounds/vibrating when receiving texts or emails.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Sound
    .
  3. Adjust any of the following:
    Drag the slider left or right to adjust the level.
    • Media volume
    • Alarm volume
    • Notification volume
The volume can also be adjusted by pressing the
Volume buttons
 (on the right edge) up (+) or down (-).
