A shortcut to an individual contact or bookmark can be added to the Home screen via a widget.

These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Touch and hold an app.
  3. Tap 'Add to Home' or drag the shortcut to the desired Home screen then release.
For the app to be successfully added, there must be sufficient space on the desired screen. If needed, additional Home screen panels may be added.

Add Widgets

Widgets are mini-apps (e.g., weather, clock, calendar, etc.) that can be added to a Home screen. They aren't the same as shortcuts as they generally display info and take up more space than a single icon.

  5. If applicable, tap additional options to activate widget.
Options vary depending upon the type of widget.
