If your device crashes, resets itself or freezes, it may be caused by apps and this info may help.
Personal data such as browser bookmarks and other customized app settings can be backed up to Google's servers.
Reset Individual App
This option resets app preferences and deletes all data for a single app.
- From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
- Navigate:.SettingsApps & Notifications
- Locate then tap the appropriate app.If necessary, tapSee all 'xx' apps.If system apps aren't visible, tap the(upper-right).Menu iconShow system
- TapFORCE STOP.
- TapOKto confirm.
- TapStorage.
- TapCLEAR DATA.This option may not be available for some apps.Resetting an app or clearing data storage may delete saved info within the app (e.g., calendar events may be lost).
- Review the info then tapOKto confirm.
Reset All App Preferences
This option resets all preferences for the following and app data isn't affected:
- Disabled apps
- Disabled app notifications
- Default apps for actions
- Background data restrictions for apps
- Any permission restrictions
- From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
- Navigate:.SettingsApps & Notifications
- TapSee all 'xx' apps.
- Tap theMenu icon
(upper-right).
- TapReset app preferences.
- TapReset Apps.
