Alcatel Avalon™ V - Add an Existing Google™ Account

Here's how to add an existing Google (Gmail) account to your Avalon V.
If you don't already have an account, refer to Create a New Google Account.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and swipe up to display all apps then navigate:
    Settings Settings
    Users & Accounts
    .
  2. Tap
    Add account
     Add entry icon.
  3. Tap
    Google
     Google icon.
    If presented, use the current security unlock method (PIN, password, etc.).
  4. Enter the Gmail address then tap
    Next
    .
  5. Enter the Password then tap
    Next
    .
  6. Review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then tap
    Accept
     (lower-right).
    To review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, tap the appropriate link and language then tap
    Close
     (at the bottom) when finished.
  7. From the Google services screen, tap any of the following to enable or disable then tap
    Next
     :
    Enabled when a check mark is present.
    • Back up your device's apps, app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords using your Google Account
    • Keep me up to date with news and offers from Google Play
  8. If prompted to "Set up payment info", tap
    No thanks
     then tap
    Continue
     (lower-right).
    To set up payment info after adding a Google account:
    1. From a Home screen, tap
      Play Store
      .
      If not available, swipe up from the center of a Home screen then tap
      Play Store
      .
    2. Tap a paid app.
    3. Tap the price of the app.
    4. Tap
      Continue
       then select a payment method.
