Alcatel Avalon V - Add / Remove Speed Dial Number

Here's how to add or remove a speed dial number on your Avalon V.
If you need to add or remove a speed dial, which allows you to quickly call specific contacts from your Alcatel Avalon™ V, follow these step-by-step instructions.
  1. From a Home screen, tap the
    Phone icon
     Phone icon (lower-left).
    If not available, swipe up from the center of a Home screen then tap
    Phone
    .
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Add a Speed Dial:
      1. From the Contacts tab Contacts tab (upper-right), tap the
        Menu icon
         Menu icon (upper-right) then tap
        Settings
        .
      2. Tap
        Speed dial settings
        .
      3. Enter the Speed Dial number or tap the Contacts icon Contacts icon to select a contact.
    • Remove a Speed Dial:
      1. From the Favorites tab, tap the
        Menu icon
         Menu icon (upper-right corner of the contact card you want to remove from the Favorites list).
      2. Tap the star icon Favorite icon (upper-right).
        Icon changes to Favorite icon outlined  when the contact is removed from Favorites.
