Lenovo tab 4 8 PLUS - Clear App Cache

Here's how to clear cached data if your Tab 4 8 PLUS runs slow, crashes or resets, or apps freeze.
Follow the steps below to clear temporary files and free up storage on your device without losing info.

Clear Individual App Cache

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate: 
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    Apps & notifications
    .
  3. Locate then tap the appropriate app.
    If necessary, tap
    See all 'xx' apps
    .
  4. Tap
    Storage
    .
  5. Tap
    CLEAR CACHE
    .
    This option may not be available for some apps.

Clear All Cached Data

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate: 
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    Storage
    .
  3. Tap
    FREE UP SPACE
    .
  4. Tap
    FREE UP '#' B
     (lower-right).
