Lenovo tab 4 8 PLUS - Adjust Account Sync Settings

If you're not receiving email and app notifications, here's how to view sync settings on your Tab 4 8 PLUS.
If you're not receiving email and app notifications, follow these steps to check your account sync settings.
Frequent account synchronization can reduce battery life.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate: 
    Settings
     Settings icon >
    Users & Accounts
    .
  3. Tap the desired account (e.g. Cloud, Email, Google, etc.).
  4. Tap
    Account sync
    .
  5. Turn the sync settings on Switch on or off Switch off as preferred.
    Settings presented vary depending upon the account type.
    To turn on master sync for all account types:
    1. Tap the 
      Back icon
       Back arrow icon (upper-left) to return to the Users & accounts screen.
    2. Tap the
      Automatically sync data switch
       to turn on then tap
      OK
       to confirm.
