Transfer Content with Quick Start - Apple iOS

Here's how to quickly transfer content (e.g., contacts, pictures, music, ect.) between two iOS devices.
  • Keep the two devices close to each other while your info, settings and passwords are transferred.
  • This method occupies both devices, so make sure to set a time when neither device will be needed for several minutes.
  • Keep your new device connected to Wi-Fi and plugged into the charger to allow content like photos, music and apps stored in iCloud® to automatically download to the device.
  • If any content is missing on your new device, determine whether content needs to be moved from other cloud services (e.g., Verizon Cloud, Google™, etc.). For more info on missing content, visit this Apple® support page.
