Here's how to download apps from sources other than the Google Play store on your ASUS device.
Your device and personal data are more vulnerable to threats such as Ransomware from apps downloaded from unknown sources. Here's some additional info about downloading from unknown sources and protecting your device against Ransomware.
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:

  2. Tap
    Application manager
    .
  3. Tap the desired app (e.g., Chrome, Gmail, Drive, etc.).
  4. Tap
    Install unknown apps
    .
  5. Tap the
    Unknown sources switch
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
  6. Review the disclaimer then tap
    OK
