KYOCERA DuraForce PRO 2 - Manage Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings
Here's how to configure Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, etc.) on your DuraForce PRO 2.
Manage Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings
- From a Home screen, navigate:.AppsSettingsNetwork & internet
- TapMobile Hotspot & tethering.
- TapMobile Hotspot.
- From the Mobile Hotspot screen, configure the following as needed:
- Hotspot name
- Hide my deviceTap to turn on or off.
- Security
- WPA2-PersonalPassword protected (recommended to prevent unauthorized access to your hotspot).
- None
- Hotspot passwordPassword can be changed.
- Connected devices

Manage Devices
The Mobile Hotspot must be turned off to be able to access this setting.
- From a Home screen, navigate:.AppsSettingsNetwork & internet
- TapMobile Hotspot & tethering.
- TapMobile Hotspot.
- From the Mobile Hotspot screen, tapAdvanced.
- TapManage devices.
- TapAllow all devices to connectto enable or disable.Restricts which devices are allowed to connect when disabled (unchecked).To add a device:
- Tap theAdd icon+(upper-right).
- Enter the name and MAC address then tapOK.

Timeout Settings
- Sets how long before the hotspot will turn off after no activity.
- The Mobile Hotspot must be turned off to be able to access this setting.
- From a Home screen, navigate:.AppsSettingsNetwork & internet
- TapMobile Hotspot & tethering.
- TapMobile Hotspot.
- TapMobile Hotspot.
- TapTimeout settings.
- Select an option:
- Never turns off
- 5 minutes
- 10 minutes
- 20 minutes
- 30 minutes
- 60 minutes
