KYOCERA DuraForce PRO 2 - Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your DuraForce PRO 2 or turn it on or off.
  • Enabling the SIM PIN locks the SIM card in your device so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
  • If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Apps icon Apps icon
    Settings
    Security
    .
  2. Tap
    SIM card lock
    .
    If unavailable, ensure a SIM card is properly inserted.
  3. Tap
    Lock SIM card
     to turn on On icon or off Off icon.
  4. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
    OK
    .
    To change your SIM PIN, ensure 'Lock SIM card' is enabled then do the following:
    1. Tap
      Change SIM PIN
      .
    2. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
      The default SIM PIN is 1111.
    3. Enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
    4. Re-enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
