Apple iPad - Face ID Settings

Here's how to enable or disable Face ID for use with screen lock and purchases on your iPad.
  • Face ID uses exclusive technology to create a map of your face that can then be used to unlock your Apple® iPad® or verify your identity for services (e.g., Apple Pay) or apps (e.g., My Verizon).
  • For Touch ID settings for previous iPad models, view Customize Touch ID Settings.
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Face ID & Passcode
    .
  2. Enter your passcode.
  3. In the 'USE FACE ID FOR' section, tap any of the following to turn on Switch On or off Switch Off:
    • iPad Unlock
    • Wallet & Apple Pay
    • iTunes & App Store
    • Password AutoFill
  4. Tap the
    Require Attention for Face ID switch
     to turn on or off.
  5. Tap the
    Attention Aware Features switch
     to turn on or off.
